AIM-IRS HOUSTON SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The purpose of The Association for The Improvement of Minorities in The Internal Revenue Service, Inc. (AIM-IRS) is to educate and develop our members to their fullest career and personal potential, and instill in them the highest degree of confidence in their abilities: in a manner that is free from negative influence and discriminatory policies and practices.  To achieve that purpose, one of AIM-IRS’s main focus is to promote local and community wide services that assist individuals seeking career and educational support.

The AIM-IRS organization is asking that you kindly forward and encourage your students to apply for the AIM-IRS 2017 scholarship.  All scholarship applications are available to all deserving incoming freshmen working towards an accredited undergraduate degree!! 

Each applicant will be scored on the following selection criteria:

·         Written Essay

·         Grade Point Average

·         SAT or ACT scores

·         Community Involvement & Extracurricular Activity

·         Awards and Recognitions

·         Income Level

 

The deadline is April 10, 2017. The scholarship application form is attached and can also be found at the website: www.aimirs-houston.org/Scholarship

The purpose of the scholarship program is to financially assist students who plan to attend an accredited college.
